In the name of God Amen This first day of June Annoq Domi One thousand six hundred ninety I Richard Rawlins of Cosgrave in the County of Northampton Yeoman being weake in body but of perfect mind and memory praysed by Almighty God for the same Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following First I commend my soule to God that gave it hopeing through the meritts death and passion of our Saviour Jesus Christ free pardon and remission of all my sins And my body to the earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named And as touching all those goods Lands Tenements and Hereditaments which God has been pleased to bestow upon me in this World I give and bequeath as followeth First I give and bequeath unto Joane my loveing Wife my Cottage house with all rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging adjoining unto the Green belonging to Covesgrave aforesaid for and during her naturall life and after her decease I give and bequeath the cottage house abovesaid with all the rights thereto belonging unto Elizabeth Franklin wife of John Franklin of Stoke Hammon in the county of Bucks Blacksmith and two her Heirs for ever Further I give unto my Granddaughter Ann Rallins the summe of One pound to be paid by my Executrix one yeare after my decease Further I give unto Elizabeth wife of John Franklin of aforesaid the sum of One pound to be paid by my Executrix as abovesaid Further I give unto Anne wife Nathaniel Ashon of Fenny Stratford in the county of Bucks Labourer the summe of Three pounds to be paid by my Executrix as aforesaid Further I give unto Eliz Wattking of Gaucutt in the parish of Buckingham and county of the same the sum of Three pounds unto her two children to be paid as abovesaid Further I give unto Anne Bullock my kinswoman of Grafton in the said County of Northampton Foure pounds to be paid as abovesaid Further I give unto the child of Thomas Cox of Calverton in the said County of Bucks the summe of Tenne shillings to be paid as aforesaid Further I give unto my daughter in law Mary Parrett two shillings six pence to buy her a pair of gloves Further I give unto the poor of Cosgrave aforesaid the summe of One pound to be paid as abovesaid and to be disposed of at the discretion of the churchwardens and overseers of the said parish Further I give unto my son in law William Earle of Bradwell in the said County of Bucks Taylor all my books excepting such as my Wife shall make use of Further I give unto the said William Twenty shillings to be paid as abovesaid All the rest of my Goods Chattell ready Moneys whatsoever unbequeathed I give and bequeath unto Joane my loveing Wife paying my funerall charges and legacies to be by her disposed of as she shall think fitt whom I doe hereby nominate and appoint sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament disannulling all former Wills by me heretofore made In witnesse whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and year first above written Richard Rawlins Sealed and subscribed in the presence of Mary Tookin Richard Franklin Tho: Kent
